Background:
The history of the Chamber's web site is similar to many others. Originally there was only minimal content, calling for only a single level of navigation. As the volume of content increased, eventually some pages were linked to only within the body of another page making them hard to organize and hard to find. Additionally, the homepage had become cluttered.

Solution:

Red Noodle modified the site to install a navigation system of three levels, easily accommodating hundreds of pages with room to grow for years to come. "Orphaned" pages were put into the navigation and badly needed new pages were added such as an extensive calendar of events. We also centered the pages and gave them a background color that helped define the page. Next, we added a true search engine to the site, which is particularly useful in searching the membership. We added a banner ad system as well, generating revenue that helps offset the cost of our services. Lastly, we continue to maintain the content of the site for this fast growing and active chamber.
