City of Chattanooga
Background:
The City of Chattanooga, Tennessee has shed its image as the "Choo Choo" town and is known today as a vibrant place to live. The city wanted to update the look and feel of the site and reorganize its 10,000 pages of content. Also, it wanted a content management system in place that would allow the staff within its 10 departments to maintain the content. Workflow and permissions capabilities were particularly important for this implementation.
Solution:
The role played here started in the sale phase, helping to secure selection by the client and then in determining which content management system to use. Using XHTML provided, the templates were created for the Reddot Content Management Server that won the selection process. The navigation had to accommodate the large number of pages providing a challenging implementation. Finally, the city staff was recieved training as authors and administrators. This site created while under previous employment.
